Our website and app are a one-stop-shop for event organisers to sell tickets online and for ticket buyers to discover events and buy tickets.

About you:

The Finance Intern will support the Finance Director with the overall accounting and finance function. He will also work from time to time with the wider management team on specific projects.

He will be specifically tasked with building intelligence on competition. monitoring the e-ticketing market, supporting the production of financial reports and analyses, as well as assisting with budgeting and forecasting tasks.

The Finance Intern will be afforded a unique opportunity to work directly and learn from top management as well as be involved in key financial and strategic processes. It will be a great opportunity to learn about the e-ticketing market as well as to understand the strategic challenges faced by a fast growing start-up.

Responsibilities:

• Create and update databases on potential clients and competitors.
• Track industry news and updates.
• Support the production of weekly and monthly operational and financial reports for internal use.
• Support the production of weekly accounting dashboards for large clients.
• Help with the tracking and payment of invoices.
• Assist with the production and update of forecasts.
• Assist with the tracking of actual performance compared to forecasts.

Essential skills:

• Highly motivated with a desire to learn.
• Team-player with ability to prioritise.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, with strong mathematical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Desired skills:

• Knowledge of the basic principles and practices of accounting and financial analysis.Ability to collect, evaluate and interpret data.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
