Fivesky Hiring for Python Developer at Montréal, QC Full Time

What you have done:
5+ years of hands-on experience with Python development testing.

5+ years of experience in version control (Git).

3+ years of experience with Windows/Linux shell scripts.

3+ years of experience in application services such as Tomcat and Jetty.

Shown proven ability and willingness to develop applications and tools to support infrastructure integration and monitoring.

Strong team spirit and relationship management skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Skills desired:
Knowledge in one or more in Enterprise Content Management Software, such as OpenText Documentum, IBM FileNet, Alfresco, Microsoft SharePoint.

Have experience working with various cloud platforms (O365, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Web Services, Box, Alfresco Online, etc)

Worked with troubleshooting Linux systems.

Have experience working with Ansible.

Have experience with Maven and Gradle.

Understanding of internet technologies and security (Digital certificates, authentication, authorization).

Understanding of Networking and Load Balancing technologies.

Working knowledge and experience in agile methodologies, scrum, sprints, and Jira.

Experience working with Continuous Delivery (CD) and Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines.

What you will do:
Provide on-call support (6 weeks rotation).

Make recommendations for improvements on existing workflows and processes.

Actively work with different internal groups, vendors, clients, security/engineering groups, and technologies.

Troubleshoot and resolve any integration/onboarding issues.

Provide support on-premise and for cloud infrastructure.

Creating and implementing custom tools, modules, components that are required for integration

Document standards, operational procedures, and system confrontations.

Contribute to both design and strategy conversations.
