Five Points Academy Early Learning & Childcare Center Hiring for 2/3yrs Lead Teacher Full Time

Our 2yr-3yr old classroom is looking for an amazing lead teacher to come join our growing team and help these litte ones learn and prepare for the next step up before they turn 4 and head onto the older PreK class.

Requirements:

1) Sixty semester hours (or 90 quarter hours) of credits from an accredited college or university with six semester or nine quarter hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development, from birth to age six; or 2) One year (1560 clock hours) of child development experience in a nursery school, kindergarten, or licensed day care center and 30 semester hours (or 45 quarter hours) of credits from an accredited college or university with six semester or nine quarter hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development, from birth to age six; or 3) Completion of credentialing programs approved by the Department (CDA)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 – $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Paxton, IL 60957: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

• Lesson planning: 1 year (Preferred)
• Early childhood education: 1 year (Required)
• Classroom experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
