We are looking for a talented Accounts Payable Assistant with a passion for high quality and efficiency, to join our UK & Ireland team and take ownership of customer queries, working collaboratively to resolve issues with pace.

You’ll be a skilled Accounts Payable Assistant, with the ability to support our Finance team to deliver an exceptional brand-aligned customer service, within the scope of the UK & Ireland Accounts Payable function.
Reporting to the CFO – Europe, you will:
  • Monitor, track and post invoices to the correct internal GL codes. Contact suppliers to resolve queries. Escalate issues where applicable for further assistance and timely resolution.
  • Ensure payment made to suppliers are made accurately and to the supplier’s instructions. Ensure that invoices are matched and cash payment are posted in a timely and accurate manner. Contact suppliers prior to payment regarding any discrepancies.
  • Ensure customer refunds are paid and posted onto GL on a timely basis
  • Daily cashbook reconciliation of both payments on and funds in. Posting cash paid onto accounting system daily
  • Maintaining, administering and monitoring all Company credit card spend through the on-line portal, and ensuring timely posting to the GL
You’ll bring:
  • Experience in a similar role and within a financial function
  • AAT professional qualification not essential but would be an advantage
  • Analytical, methodical and logical, confidently evaluates financial data and reports
  • Good commercial awareness and legal understanding relating to regulations and legislations, contracts, including financial practices in the AP function
  • Able to show a positive and progressive attitude and a flexible approach to change
  • Experience working within a “premium brand” culture and environment would be a benefit
