UI Software Engineer

What does a successful UI Software Engineer do at Fiserv?

• You possess experience with merchant services acquiring and payment processing solutions for small and large businesses and financial institutions.
• You have the ability to communicate and collaborate with team members of all positions and levels.
• You’re capable of leading complex projects including problem solving, documentation, timelines, and ing.

What you will do:

• Work with product owners to understand requirements, document technical specifications in our Angular UI, and engineer solutions
• Support testing and defect fixes based on requirements
• Help drive implementation of your solutions
• Understand the end-to-end platform and assist with production issues and non-functional requirements

What you will need to have:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience working in an IDE with AngularJS, Angular 8, or Angular 9
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Unix scripting languages and SQL
• 7+ years of experience using Unix OS (AIX and Linux), SQL tools, Putty, and GIT
• 5+ years of experience with NodeJS, Notepad++, WINSCP, Fortify, or other code-scanning software to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities

What would be great to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field or equivalent work experience

• Experience in Agile environments

• Experience with monitoring and scheduling tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace, as well as synthetic transaction simulation tools
