Worldpay From FIS’s eComm Engineering branch specialises in delivering online payment services to our customers and are looking for Engineers to join our team and take our systems to the next level.

Operating within a collaborative SAFe environment, we strive to deliver effective solutions for our customers using our evolving payment platform.

WPAP (Worldpay Alternative Payments) is an integrated Payments, Accounting & Clearing platform, offering Customers and Shoppers access to international banks and payment services within a single virtual treasury.

Working across an “On-Premise” and Cloud based platforms this growing team works closely to strive to deliver quality solutions in a timely manner.


What you will be doing

You will collaborate with Testers and Automation Testers to design, maintain and execute testing and other quality activities across all aspects of the Worldpay Alternative Payments platform. As part of this you will need to ensure that consistency and sufficient coverage of test areas of the platform utilizing regression and backward compatibility test approaches. With your previous experience you’ll need to assist with the identification of improvement opportunities, suggest solutions and own them to completion.

  • Ensure requirements and on-going changes in requirements are fully met

  • Deliver fully tested quality systems by meticulous planning

  • Participate in post implementation reviews for each release and capture lessons learnt

  • Mentoring and training of new resource

  • Identify scope of improvements within the testing team and work with stakeholder to agree in implementation plan


What you bring:

  • Capable of dealing effectively with unexpected situations and overcoming problems

  • Able to tailor the QA approach to suit team process, technologies and defined strategies

  • Making decisions, often with limited information, and communicating these to others within development/test

  • Reviewing existing procedures and systems looking for improvements

  • Able to work with teams to implement new principles as well as track and review progress


Added bonus if you have:

  • Ability to identify gaps in QA Approach and take steps to mitigate

  • Experiencing of mentoring and teaching others

  • Experience advising key stakeholders, staying calm under pressure and public speaking
