About the role:
As a financial analyst specialist, you’ll have your finger on the financial pulse of the entire organization. Working with a diverse team, you’ll be asked to develop, interpret, and implement financial solutions for FIS Financial Planning & Analysis.

About the team:

The Merchant Tech Development Finance team is made up of 6 members and sits within the wider Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis function of FIS. The team spans multiple geographies and manages the entire budget for all tech development related to the FIS Merchant business.

What you

will do:

• Build the annual budget for Worldpay UK Development and MCAS (Microsoft Cloud as a Service). Ensure each department is supported and challenged as necessary and is clear on its final target
• Develop monthly reforecasts to ensure expenses track closely to the budget and support corrective action where necessary.
• Produce monthly management reports for WPUK and MCAS & present the results to the business unit leadership teams.
• Identify cost savings and revenue opportunities across the Merchant development organisation.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation.
• Support other areas of the Finance department including the Procurement function.

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Good understanding of generally accepted accounting principles as well as company accounting policies, procedures and standards
• Ability to analyse and solve problems using learned techniques and tools
• Analytical and statistical examination skills
• Demonstrated ability to plan and accomplish work to ensure critical deadlines are met
• Ability to communicate well and build relationships with senior stakeholders

Added bonus if you have:

• Experience working in a Fintech organisation
• Experience working with an offshore accounting team
