Office Administrator
Job Description
Hours
Monday – Thursday: 9:00 am – 4:30 pm (1 hour lunch)
Friday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Third Monday each month, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm for Trustees Meeting
(Approximately 32 hours per week)
Responsibilities
Welcoming visitors to the church
Answering telephone calls in partnership with volunteer receptionists
Organizing and keeping the church’s calendar
Organizing companies to ensure our facilities and equipment are in good working order
Scheduling meetings and sending meeting invites to attendees
Coordinating with Custodian for set up of meetings and events
ing office progress to Lead Pastor and working with staff and church members’ to improve office operations and procedures
Overseeing clerical tasks
Create documents, maintaining databases and sending memos and emails
Keeping an inventory of office supplies and ordering new materials as needed
Maintaining files, physical and electronic
Assisting Volunteer Team Leaders with agenda, minutes, and other printed materials
Sorting and delivering incoming mail and collecting and sending outgoing mail
Making logistical arrangements for meetings
Running errands and making deliveries around the office or to external parties
Managing church membership software (Shelby)
Preparing estimates in cooperation with the Director of Finance and Board of Trustees

Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce s, accept instructions, coordinate with staff and church members in ministry related operations
Organization and the ability to complete a wide variety of tasks
Flexibility to meet the dynamic demands of ministry and the ability to prioritize new tasks as they come in
Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all staff and church members
Time management
Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly
Great customer service skills, including a personable and positive attitude
Good computer skills, including basic troubleshooting and using word processing, spreadsheet, church membership and email software applications

Ability to work independently in cooperation with staff and congregation
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
