Key purpose of the role;

Ensure all learners are receiving high quality teaching and learning sessions each month to progress them through their apprenticeship programme.

Learners must feel supported, have continual contact and constructive feedback on all their work which includes feedback and guidance to get them to EPA.

Skills coaches must have strong time management skills and manage their own diaries ensuring they can see all learners and attend CPD training days that A1 requires to maintain the highest standards.

Skills coaches are responsible for timely completions, to work inline with the ESFA and EIF guidance to ensure quality and compliance throughout and must have an understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted.

Key Task / Responsibilities

Key tasks but not limited to:

Manage a caseload of learners, full capacity will be at 45

Report into the Head Of Apprenticeships and continually update on learner progress or issues

To deliver a high level of quality teaching to all learners, delivering 1:1 or in groups

To ensure all learners have a learner journey which is ambitious and created around them (individualised)

To ensure attendance of any standardisations or training days A1 hold to ensure quality is maintained

Deliver onboarding/sign up sessions for all new learners on the standards you deliver

Work with the quality team and ensure a high level of standards are delivered

Ensure all learners and timely and we are preparing them for gateway and EPA

All employers are fully engaged and attend all reviews at each meeting

All learners must be fully compliant, this to include reviews uploaded monthly, progress on the system, OTJT hours on track and other compliance KPIs

An understanding on the ESFA and EIF requirements

Full ownership of own diary and planning

Lead on your own delivery and ensure it has positive impacts on learners

What you will bring to the role:

• Ofsted recognised, current and relevant vocational level 5 qualification.
• Experience of your vocational area of expertise at a level 5 Early Years;
• Previous experience of funded provision and compliance in the Apprenticeships sector (ESFA).
• Experience of working in high demand environments, to targets and tight deadlines.
• GCSEs English and Maths (C or above or equivalent).

Salary: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
