First Steps Learning Academy is looking for a talented and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our Centre in Kirrawee.

The successful applicant will be very well supported by an experienced leadership team who are committed to creating a positive work environment and where our children feel like they are at their home away from home.

The successful applicant must have a sound understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF), the National Quality Standard (NQS) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, and the right applicants will have the ability to build strong relationships with the families at the Centre, the children which we care for, and with their team.

You will design and implement daily routines and use routine times as opportunities for learning while creating a friendly, secure and stimulating interactive learning environment for children.

All educators contribute to programming, planning and documentation and we ensure that a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times.

Applicants must have a Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching or equivalent or actively working towards’ your ECT to be considered for this role.
