JOB SUMMARY: The Vice President (VP) of Talent and Equity is an experienced, results oriented, and strategic Human Resources leader. Reporting to the Chief Impact and People Officer, the VP of Talent and Equity will oversee the talent/human resource and equity work. They will be responsible for the organization-wide strategy and systems need to attract, select, develop, and retain top talent, to fulfill our strategic goals, and to create and manage the performance-based culture essential to achieving those objectives. They will also lead the organizations intentional use of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) principles in the on-going development of First Place staff.
Essential Duties and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Other duties as needed and assigned.

Physical requirements include the ability to lift and reach for light objects (up to 20lbs); close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data, text, and figures; ability to type utilizing a computer keyboard; ability to travel to outside locations; ability to communicate and exchange information; ability to move about the office to access file cabinets and office equipment; and the ability to remain stationary and work at a computer for extended periods of time as a primary job function.
