Senior Structural Engineer

First People Solutions is recruiting for a leading Consulting Engineer in Inverness who are looking for experienced Engineers to join their growing team. Our client is seeking Senior Structural Engineers to lead projects within their current workload in Building Structures. Our client is one of Scotland’s leading consultancies and do a great deal of work in a variety of sectors.

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone with extensive Project management, Client management and Structural design experience. This is a Lead engineer role in the company and there is an opportunity to progress to Principal / Associate level.

Your experience, background and approach to work will include:

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• 3 – 5 years of experience working within a consulting engineering environment
• Chartered status preferred or close too
• Conversant in industry relevant software
• Knowledge of building structures design at concept, feasibility and preliminary level
• Experience leading projects and mentoring graduate engineers
• Clean driver’s license
