First People Solutions is working with a successful Consulting Engineer in Glasgow who is looking for experienced Civil Engineers to join their expanding Highways team. Our client leads the field in this area and has been involved in a range of prestigious transport and civil infrastructure projects across the UK and beyond.

The Job:

• The work will involve the design of roads and highways, from small-scale local projects to large-scale national schemes
• Ensuring documents, designs and drawings are in high quality and comply with design standards
• Working alongside team and management to support design delivery
• Attend design meetings and liaise with clients

What we need from you:

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Chartered status or close to
• Proven experience working on various highways infrastructure design projects, from concept to delivery
• Strong knowledge of DMRB and MCDHW
• Previous experience of SuDS, drainage design and pavement design is desirable
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microdrainage
