Civil Engineer

First People Solutions is working with an established Consulting Engineer in Dunfermline who is looking for motivated and talented Civil Engineers for their growing engineering team. Our client is a recognised industry leader and with a healthy workload ahead, we are seeking a driven individuals who can assist in project activities and bring valuable expertise to the team.

The Role:

A variety of civil infrastructure projects are undertaken by the team, including drainage, roads and roads related infrastructure. You will be involved in:

• Assist in the feasibility and pre-planning assessments of engineering infrastructure
• Assist in the design of major infrastructure and road schemes
• Ensure documents, designs and drawings are in high quality and comply with design standards
• Attendance at design meetings
• Work alongside engineering teams and associated consulting engineers

Qualifications & Experience

• BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering
• 5 years’ experience and working within multidiscipline environments
• Knowledge of policy and design standards (e.g. DMRB, MCDHW, etc.).
• Competent in the use of Bentley MX, Microdrainage/WinDes and Civil 3D software
• Chartered or near too
• Full clean driving license
