The Deposit Services Administrator manages the accurate and timely flow of information for major retail projects while also facilitating the end-to-end process associated with each. This individual is responsible for handling highly confidential details of a critical nature and must function efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment using discretion and good judgement while focusing on a high attention to details. Must be able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines. Must also be able to use critical thinking skills to make timely business decisions. The Deposit Services Administrator also provides high-level business operations support to the Chief Deposit Services Officer, Deposit Services Support Manager, and Regional Deposit Managers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assists the Chief Deposit Services Officer and Deposit Services Support Manager with day-to-day operations within deposit services.
  • Creates monthly Deposit Services Board, Pricing and ALCO reports in conjunction with the Chief Deposit Services Officer, in addition to other management-level reporting and tracking. Manages and maintains other ongoing reports and data needed for monthly reporting.
  • Performs financial and trend analysis in areas such as department sales, goals, deposit balances, trends, and projections, including preparing reports, spreadsheets, charts and graphs and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Performs database work and extract reports from the Business Analytics and MCIF databases.
  • Conducts research on various retail topics, summarizes results and makes recommendations for improvement. When appropriate, puts recommendations into action by meeting with appropriate employees or building appropriate business cases.
  • Manages the Voice of the Customer program including data updates, monthly trend reports, cross business-line support, outbound communication regarding program highlights and proactively present business cases as necessary regarding customer service improvements driven by customer feedback. Establishes and manages Manager responsibility guidelines associated with the program including ongoing staff training based on customer feedback, staff acknowledgements, etc. to ensure program consistency across all areas of the bank. Partners with the training department to develop training curriculum driven by Voice of the Customer data.
  • Manages the Quarterly Sales Program including the creation and management of monthly/quarterly/annual dashboards and branch scorecards.
  • Manages the monthly goal tracking and reporting for incentive compensation achievement for both Branch and Management personnel.
  • Coordinates the monthly Deposit Management meeting, and other meetings as necessary, by developing agendas, distributing materials, documenting minutes and action items, maintaining intranet sites and coordinating with outside vendors as needed.
  • Follows-up on meeting action items as necessary to help hold the team accountable for completion.
  • Tracks and processes all monthly expense items and monthly updates for the Deposit Senior Management team for reporting to the Chief Deposit Services Officer.
  • Independently manages projects from start to finish as directed by Deposit Services Management.
  • Manages Retail initiatives, projects, and activities including product roll outs, and retail acquisition details. Tracks and monitors timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Reviews retail invoices comparing pricing to current contracts to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinates and gathers documentation for the Deposit Services vendor management reviews.
  • Manages the process and publication of the weekly First Report Newsletter for the company.
  • Performs Deposit Services administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 3+ years of relevant banking experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills:
  • Must be able to effectively manage projects, function independently and make decisions using solid judgment.
  • Excellent written and oral skills to clearly communicate with company personnel.
  • Must be able to effectively manage projects, function independently to meet established deadlines.
  • Must be able to use good judgement when dealing with sensitive information and be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to review and analyze documents and reports for accuracy and inconsistencies.
  • Must become highly skilled in Excel and Viewpoint within six months of hire.
