The Role:

We are currently looking for an experienced and knowledgeable full-stack React.js/Node.js developer who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our Swadlincote Depot to join our E-commerce team.

Your primary duty in this role will be to help develop and maintain the companies e-commerce website and other systems adding new features and providing regular updates.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Designing, developing and deploying updates to First Fences internal systems

· Maintain existing React systems, including fixing bugs

· Providing technical advice to the upper management team

Skills, Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

· Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role

· Experience with frontend web technologies Node.js, React and/or Typescript are essential

· An understanding of common programming paradigms and fundamental React principles, such as React components, hooks, and the React lifecycle

· Proficiency in popular React tools such as webpack, Redux, Flux, etc.

· Experience integrating against and building REST/GraphQL APIs.

· Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design

· Knowledge of version control systems, such as GIT

· Reliable self-starter with the ability to both complete projects singularly or as part of a wider team

· A keen eye for detail and with high quality standards

· Good communication skills with all levels of the company

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £28,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
