Trainee Bus Drivers 

Ready to start a new career with more to offer? We’d love to train you as a Bus Driver in Great Yarmouth. You will be earning:

£11.00 per hour, rising up to £12 per hour after 12 months of becoming qualified.

There is an agreed pay increase from the 1st of January 2024 to £12.83 which will be further increased to £13.29 from the 1st of July 2024.

Rising to £14.50 per hour after 12 months of becoming qualified.

This is a full-time contract working 39 hours per week.

You will be driving routes  – providing the friendly, reliable service that so many locals, commuters and visitors rely on.  We will provide initial paid training in vehicle & route familiarisation, ticket machine & ticket type training and low bridge training. You’ll soon be ready to go.

What we’re looking for

We value safe, patient drivers who get on well with customers and colleagues. We are also looking for:

• a valid PCV driving licence (with no more than 6 points on your driving licence)
• the flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends
• up to date CPC
