Under general direction, the Inbound Verification Specialist, is responsible for accepting inbound calls to verify the data of job applicants’ education and employment history from employers and schools. This role will enter information into templates within the system and review for accuracy. This role will flag and follow discrepancy procedures regarding ing differences in verification results through appropriate sources and channels. Strong organization and prioritization skills, high attention to detail, effective time management and able to adhere to all Departmental procedures and Fair Credit ing Act regulations are all key components of this role.
The ideal candidate has a customer-first mindset and aims to deliver high-quality service in every customer interaction.
Hours: The position works 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm ET.

Requirements
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates preferred.
Experience:
1+ years’ experience with Verifications/Background Checks/Research preferred.

Physical Requirements:
This role is largely a sedentary in nature and involves sitting for long periods of time. The role requires the ability to hear and talk as well as to see data and adjust visual focus for computer and paper tasks, read, type, lift and/or carry equipment and files up to 20 pounds, walk, bend or stand as necessary.
