The Firkin Hospitality Group is a Toronto-based company that operates 23 pubs in and around the Toronto region, as well as in Washington DC and Baltimore MD.

In Nova Scotia we operate the Firkin and Flyer pub, La Cocina Mexicana and Patio, JJ’s Burger Shack, Connected Coffee and The Fine Company Gastropub in the Halifax Stanfield International Airport.

We are looking for experienced Servers to join our La Cocina Mexicana team!

The successful candidates are energetic, motivated and have hospitality in their DNA. ing directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for delivering Genuine Hospitality and a memorable guest experience through food and beverage knowledge, adherence to service standards and of course your magnetic personality!

· Must have two years of full service restaurant Front of House experience.

· Also must be able to pass a Transport Canada background and security check to work in the airport.

· As this is a full time operation, candidates must be able to work mornings, afternoons and nights, weekends, weekdays and holidays.

Because we don’t know anyone who doesn’t love a great taco washed down with a fresh, tart margarita while listening to old school Los Lobos, we invite you to La Cocina Mexicana.

Not your standard Mexican cantina, we use authentic, esoteric and fresh ingredients to delight your taste buds and change your perception of Mexican Food.

Tequila? We got you with over 30 tequilas and mezcals which help make our palomas, margaritas and old fashioned so tasty. Mexican beers in the fridge, Micheladas and Sangria in your glass.

Salary: $13.60-$14.60 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Halifax, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• serving: 2 years (preferred)
• Bartending: 2 years (preferred)
