Entry Level Software Developer
Position: Software Developer (Entry Level)

Firefly is currently seeking highly driven candidates looking to start a career in software development. Someone who is willing to go the extra mile to provide our customers with great software. As a software developer, you will work in a small team that is very collaborative, and team based. Along with team projects, you will be given individual projects assigned by the team manager. This position requires doing all facets of development, coding, testing, implementation and support. No software development experience is required.

Main Responsibilities of the Position

• Data entry for new configurations.
• Troubleshooting and fixing bug fixes reported by testing.
• Keep the team manager updated with project status to ensure timely completion.
• Creating and maintaining detailed system documentation.

Requirements for Position

• Being flexible.
• Adhering to company programming standards.
• Being able to accept input on how code is written or implemented from manager and other colleagues.

• Ability to write clear, concise documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Competencies and Skills

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or a related subject) is not required.
• Technical knowledge not required but preferred in HTML, Ionic, Linux, CSS, Git environment, JavaScript, Angular JS, JSON, and React JS.
