Fircroft Looking for Mechanical Engineer at Runcorn Full Time

Plant Mechanical Engineer

Site based in Runcorn (Weston Point)

Role 

To ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Plant mechanical assets by:

– ensuring compliance of in-service equipment failures with legal and company mechanical and civil engineering standards
– specifying and scheduling equipment inspections and remedial works working closely with pressure systems competent person
– reviewing condition monitoring reports and initiating maintenance when required
– reviewing in-service equipment failures and specification of repairs
– development of plant overhaul and asset life plans
– monitor competence of mechanical tradespersons

Education

Ideally, the candidate should be a degree educated mechanical engineering graduate, or a very experienced HND educated engineer
Must be able to specify the appropriate inspection method and frequency for mechanical equipment
