Location: Mississauga, Ontario (initially remote; onsite post-Covid)

Job Description

Summary * Conducts analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing and implementation of applications or systems across functional areas * Plans and directs studies of potential electronic data processing applications and prepares design proposals to reflect cost, time and alternative actions to satisfy existing and future needs of the corporation * Develops test plans and protocols for evaluation of system performance * Conducts analysis of systems specifications and uses the latest analysis/diagramming tools to represent business/technical processes * Develops conversion and system implementation plans * Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards * Coordinates system upgrade activity * Trains user personnel in the conversion and implementation of the system * May include company-wide, web-enabled solutionSkills: * 5+ years of experience in systems architecture and development of application integration solutions * Strong knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint (on-premise and iPaaS) supported by obtained certificates: MuleSoft Certified Developer, MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect * Knowledge of other application integration technologies and platforms e.g. TIBCO, WebMethods * Experience in designing integration solutions using various approaches such as Microservices, messaging, queuing, API management and patterns, etc. * Practical knowledge of DevOps practices and tools * Knowledge of standards and good practices in scope of both: designing architecture of EAI solutions and software development * knowledge of modern IT concepts such as Big Data, Internet of Things, Cloud or Microservices * Skills to effectively present information to various groups of recipients including management levelEducation: * BS/BA in computer sciences, mathematics, life sciences or related degrees
