Full Job Description

Program Productions, Inc. (PPI) is accepting applications for highly motivated Crewing Managers. Our Crewing Managers provide technicians for sports, entertainment and other live events and are the company’s primary contact with our technicians and clients. The Crewing Manager will work remotely, and is responsible for selecting, hiring, and scheduling technicians, and working closely with clients to provide timely, responsive, top-tier service throughout the event production cycle.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Hire and manage crews of sports, entertainment and other live event technicians.
• Communicate with clients regarding crew requirements, budgets, and schedules.
• Schedule, track, and manage assigned work.
• Ensure work is on schedule and is meeting internal and client deadlines.
• Anticipate and communicate issues to management team to resolve problems quickly.
• Ensure productions comply with safety, health and other regulatory requirements.
• Proactively address issues which arise during the course of the production.
• Coordinate and manage travel for technical crews, including airfare, hotel, and rental car bookings.
• Oversee payroll entries and expense approval for events.
• Initiate budget and schedule adjustments as required.
• Onboard new employees.
• Assist with recruiting and training initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Self-starter, able to set priorities, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Attention to detail, follow through, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong listening, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to create and track production budgets
• Knowledge of live broadcast sports, entertainment and/or other related live events as well as remote events planning.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of software.
• General familiarity with union collective bargaining agreements and operating procedures.
• Willingness to help and support other staff and technicians.
• Some travel required.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least three years of related experience required.
• Prior supervisory experience a plus.
• Salesforce knowledge is a plus.
