As we expand our internal projects, we are looking for a Finance Assistant to be assist the day to day running of the finance function, as well as reporting during the month end process. Professional Development and career pathways can be discussed.

Responsibilities:

• Raising sales invoices and producing weekly debtors report
• Posting purchase invoices
• Bank reconciliation
• Balance Sheet reconciliation with accruals, prepayment and acquisition schedule being updated on a monthly basis
• Cost Analysis on a month on month basis
• Daily Revenue Reporting
• Assist with VAT Returns and end of Month/Year Reporting
• Assisting Finance Manager on a monthly preparation of management accounts and ad-hoc duties when required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a financial/administration environment
• Must be very organized
• Attention to detail is essential
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications especially Excel
• Ability to take full ownership of the responsibilities assigned including taking the initiative to learn
• Basic knowledge of standard accounting activities; particularly bank Reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and vendor reconciliations
• Excellent spoken and written English language skills
• Be a team player
