Fingerman & Macke, CPA, PC Hiring for Tax Accountant Job at Remote Full Time

Fingerman & Macke, CPA, PC specializes in servicing small business clients and is seeking a qualified candidate with experience in all aspects of tax preparation. Responsibilities include monthly bank reconciliations, quarterly and annual adjusting journal entries, year end closing analysis’ and adjustments and corporate, partnership and individual tax return preparation. To succeed in this role, you should show interest in following changes to tax regulations and laws. Excellent time management skills are essential as you’ll have to ensure our company meets tight deadlines and client budgets. Ultimately, you should be able to recommend tax strategies that ensure the best tax savings to our clients.

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst or Tax Preparer
• Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
• Experience in the preparation of payroll and sales tax returns is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with Quickbooks is a must
• Computer literacy in various computer programs including MS Office, Lacerte and/or other tax preparation softwares
• Excellent analytical and time management skills
• Strong numeracy skills
• Keen attention to detail
• A Degree in Accounting where a CPA designation is preferred but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
