Fine Tutors Hiring for Head of Centre – Private education tuition centre Job at London, England Full Time

Join a highly successful tuition company as a head of centre for one of our new established centres in Hounslow

This is a part time position. We are open 2 days a week. Saturday 9:30am-6:30pm and Tuesday 5pm-9pm. Work outside working hours is also required.

We are looking for candidates who have an interest in education and management. Ideally someone who is also local to the area. A natural leader that is able to communicate effectively, hire correctly, grow their branch and be a team player while nurturing their centre to grow and flourish. You will mostly be communicating with parents and be around children. You must have patience and kindness.

The employment package includes:

The head of centre is responsible for the overall operation of the branch. This means ensuring that: the premise is available and suitable for student learning; staff is on time and productive; and that all tasks necessary for the operation of the branch are accomplished.

The supervisors, teachers, class assistants, admin and accounts and advertising team are staff members who report directly to the head of centre.

Team building is fundamental in every branch. Assuring head of centres are hiring appropriate staff and conducting regular training. Ensuring staff are participating in meetings and building overall strength within the team.

Marketing

The marketing campaign for the branch works through two channels: flyer distribution and referrals

Teaching staff evaluation

The performance of teachers needs to be monitored to ensure they are all delivering quality teaching.

Periodic management

Besides the daily duties, there are other important aspects that must be handled. These include paying: rent, bills, teachers, caretakers, flyer distributors, administrative staff and supervisors
