Findex Hiring for People & Culture Adviser Job at Australia Full Time

The Opportunity

Here at Findex we are currently seeking a People & Culture Adviser to join our close-knit and collaborative team! This is a permanent, full-time opportunity which is flexible in being based anywhere in Australia for the right person.

The role will be joining a large HR team, who work across four key functions – People Partnering, Talent Acquisition, People Development & People Relations. This position sits within the People Partnering Team.

Working across a national remit you’ll be responsible for providing HR support to ensure the effective implementation of people and culture processes and policies, as well as supporting the strategic direction of the function.

This role will report directly into our Head of People and is responsible for advising, coaching and influencing departmental supervisors and managers on various HR matters, as well as supporting cyclical activities such as our Employee Development Program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to workforce planning through succession planning and talent management
• Provide support to key HR projects across Findex Group
• Support the planning of team dynamics sessions and assist with post feedback action planning
• Drive initiatives in support of employee engagement
• Advise departmental supervisors and managers in the performance management process and assist with implementation
• Assist with the coordination of annual cyclical activities such as our Employee Development Program
• Assist employee onboarding processes
• Assist Talent Acquisition with the coordination of internal talent mobility
• Manage parental leave applications in accordance with the Findex Group Parental Leave Policy
• Provide support and advice around legislation and procedures regarding employer and employee-initiated terminations
• Timely support for recruitment requests, employee departures, change to working arrangements, etc.

The successful person will possess the following skills & attributes:

• Degree qualified in Human Resources (highly desirable)
• Around 2-3 years of experience in a similar HR related position
• Sound experience working in large, fast-paced corporate environments
• Genuine care for advocating for a cohesive and engaging company culture
• High attention to detail with strong organisational and planning skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to build relationships with a strong focus on stakeholder management
