The Opportunity

Our customer delivery team is at the coalface, connected through the Visory platform they work directly with business owners to deliver high quality bookkeeping, accounts payable and reporting services.

As a Bookkeeper you’ll manage both a portfolio of customers and as work in a team to support the service delivery for our larger customers. Our customers are a diverse group of SME’s who are in need of financial expertise, some of these customers will need our help to tidy things up, others are looking for a stable set of hands and others are looking for a scalable solution to support their growth, however all have one thing in common – they want to improve and streamline their financial back-office.

We take a team approach to servicing our customers that will see you working with other talented bookkeepers to deliver high quality outcomes. We believe in a community of experts is better than one.

We are looking for bookkeepers or finance professionals that are obsessed with technology and improving processes, who love solving complex problems and implementing efficient solutions.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver back-office finance services: You’ll manage a portfolio of external customers, providing end to end bookkeeping services, including payables and receivables.
• Manage key processes: You’ll be responsible for managing key processes involved in the delivery of our services, these include:
• Requests for customer information
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Preparation and processing of payment runs
  • BAS preparation
    
• Process improvement: You’ll work to spot opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient solutions for your portfolio of customers. Additionally, you’ll support the process improvement for new customers, working alongside a team of bookkeepers’ you’ll help establish best practice and high levels of automation during the first 3 months of the engagement.

Role Requirements:

• Passionate about Bookkeeping and obsessed with helping businesses grow
• A lateral thinker who can apply first principles thinking to work with customers to improve processes and outcomes
• A solid understanding of cloud accounting software and adjacent back-office technology with an understanding of automation
• Experience in Bookkeeping and or finance, from reconciliation to preparing complex reports
• Comfortable working remotely and using online messaging and video conferencing to engage with customers and team members
