Financial Sector Hiring for Software Developer Job at Wheaton, IL Full Time

Financial firm in the western suburbs is currently seeking Developers to help develop applications to support all aspects of investment management including trading, accounting, human resources, portfolio management, compliance, trade confirmation and settlement, and portfolio operations.

Duties include but are not limited to: designing, developing, testing and supporting software applications to support the the Firm’s investment business; working closely with other members of the software development and operations teams to build, enhance, and support vital business applications; other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or more advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering and some software development experience. Business, finance, accounting or equivalent job experience is also a plus; high attention to detail; strong problem solving skills and the ability to think “out of the box”; team oriented with good oral and written communication skills and have the ability to work independently to resolve problems; organized with an ability to multi-task, prioritize duties, and meet deadlines.
