The Financial Analyst is responsible for modeling (developing forecasts, budgets and multi-year plans), analyzing and reporting financial and operational results. They will assist with developing business cases, and will support operation and capital planning activities.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• Prepares annual forecast and multi-year forecasts taking into account changes in tactical and strategic plans, operations, contracts, trends, etc.
• Perform profitability and cost analysis
• Provides financial/analytical support to management
• Identifies, analyzes and tracks trends that impact financial performance (e.g., new/changed product offerings, utilization and operations)
• Prepares business cases including financial, operation and economic analysis
• Responsible for the preparation of analysis of variances between actual and projected sales revenue and the compilation and analysis of operating expense variances.
• Assist in the design, development, and testing of complex spreadsheet models, databases and charts that are used for management analysis and reporting.
• Develop relationships with management to gain a deep understanding of the business and identify opportunities to positively impact results.
• Deliver recurring and ad-hoc reports that explain key revenue indicators, such as commission opportunities and carrier placement strategies.
