SQUAD LEADER –Platform Management
The Role
As Platform Management Leader, you blend Architecture, engineering and development expertise with a passion for delivering results. As the product owner you are the end-to-end gatekeeper of the squad mission, strategy, and tactical execution associated with delivering on strategic priorities. In an agile structure, you will partner with other Fidelity leaders to influence the broader strategic decisions, roadmaps and resource requirements, set and refine the mission, and bring together a team of chapter members to execute on specific product features, You will ensure alignment on the “what” and “when” work is to be performed through ongoing planning and prioritization of a product backlog. You will enable squad members to work iteratively, innovate through testing and experimentation and learn from failures while celebrating success. You are committed to developing your own expertise and knowledge to ensure you bring the latest thinking to your role.
Defining, refining, and communicating the squads’ mission and roadmap to motivate and build team and partner support and alignment
Anticipating, discovering through ongoing interaction with, and prioritizing client / partner needs to serve as their voice and guide execution of the team
Defining, evaluating, and communicating results against acceptance criteria
Inspecting and evaluating progress, and removing impediments
Measuring performance against established objectives and KPI’s that deliver on agreed upon business, technology, and people results
Collaborating and coordinating with Chapter Leaders and Scrum Masters to build squad capacity and capability and enabling squad member growth, development and learning
Making informed trade-off decisions to strike the right balance between quality, cost, and timelines
Technical Product Owner experience with building roadmaps, designs, and delivering products or solutions at scale
manage large-scale Kubernetes clusters infrastructure.
Experience with Policy as Code tools and enforcement in pipeline
Strong knowledge and experience with CI/CD open source and vendor frameworks and tools
Incorporate testing and instrumentation into workflows to ensure processes are reliable and measurable
Create and maintain continuous integration and deployment processes
Devise innovative ideas for solving hard technical problems and translate these ideas into designs and implementation at scale
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
B.S Computer Sc or equivalent.
10-15 years experiences in manage large scale enterprise infrastructure projects.
Kubernetes, CNCF container and open source technologies.
Experience designing, developing and maintaining dynamic products and solutions
Financial services experience, preferred
Agile experience
Jira and Jira Align experience preferred
You take a data-focused approach to understanding customer needs, translate strategic objectives into action, and prioritize to improve value delivered
You grasp sophisticated product features and break them into clear and concise stories with well-defined business value and acceptance criteria and optimally communicate these
You have a strong focus on execution and identify, communicate and remove impediments to progress
You are capable of leading, influencing, and motivating colleagues without formal authority, and have a track record of building high-performing teams
You continuously improve and encourage an agile way of working
You establish and maintain unquestioning relationships as you work collaboratively across Fidelity to deliver business outcomes and seek out the expertise of colleagues to advise on your approach

The Team
You work in partnership with the Enterprise cloud computing Product Area Leader, other Squad Leaders, Scrum Master, and Chapter Leaders aligned to your squad. By demonstrating and promoting Fidelity and agile leadership behaviors, you sustain and evolve our innovative agile culture.

$130,000 – $218,000 per year
