We are seeking an influential leader to coach and mentor other software engineers in a Quality Center of Excellence. A person in this role can expect to support learning and developing software engineers with a focus and specialty in the Quality Assurance Discipline.

Workforce planning to provide increased value and results for our customers and the business
Supporting and empowering team members, to enable delivery of increased value
Enabling an agile and frictionless organization by demonstrating agile behaviors
Constantly promoting a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement
Proactively partnering with other stakeholders to explore solutions
Measure performance through established objectives and metrics and deliver agreed upon business, technology, and people results
Set and apply standards ensuring the work performed is relevant, scalable, and compliant
Actively share insights, knowledge, industry practices and developments across the organization
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or related field
8+ years of experience with building and testing application strategies
Multiple experiences leading software engineering, delivering technology solutions, and driving large complex programs leveraging Agile software development practices.
You are an inspirational leader skilled at developing others while modeling a culture of continuous learning, mentoring, and coaching
Effective communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills with which you influence decisions and engage across Fidelity and at all levels of the organization
Strong long-term strategic planning with the ability to deliver incremental results and business value
You proactively develop and share your knowledge, expertise and perspectives and build the same expectation with your team members and business partners
The Team
Our CoE members will partner with Software Engineers to build and enhance quality solutions to support our Domains, Product Areas, and Squads. We serve and advise Chapter Leads, Squad Leads and Product Area Leads as they deliver on their product roadmaps. We are also charged with assuring that engineering excellence standards encompass the mission of the squads and properly cover all aspects of quality.
