About the role:

To assist in the performance of software testing procedures on the Application Software and ensure all errors are identified and corrected before release to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Producing clear and accurate test scripts against design requirements in line with the standard outlined by the QA team.

• Being responsible for delivering quality products against the defined functional requirements, including post release production testing

• Working closely with scrum teams and other groups to develop, maintain and execute manual test suites

• Actively contributing to design and SCRUM meetings

• Maintaining test environments

• Being responsible for investigation and replication of issues for the maintenance team

• LoggingTracking Software Bugs on projects accurately

• Providing regular, accurate and timely status reports to line manager and team, in regards to project status and issues, whilst following all internal processes.

• Identifying and addressing your own personal and professional development needs, and showing commitment to continued learning

Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of testing processes and methodologies

• Strong communication skills

• Experience of communicating with clients and line management.

• Demonstrable accuracy and attention to detail

• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break up complex software solution

• Financial industry experience
