Founded in Tallahassee, Florida in 2018, F&I Sentinel (“FIS”) is a fast-growing tech-enabled service provider to some of the largest automotive finance companies in the United States. THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Software Quality Assurance Analyst will evaluate and utilize automated and UAT testing of F&I Sentinel software in the development phase to ensure that the system or product meets specific technical requirements. The Software Quality Assurance Analyst will identify and rectify errors that have been overlooked during the developmental phase, thereby ensuring that the product works efficiently prior to launching internally and/or externally to customers. The Software Quality Assurance Analyst will also be responsible for retesting system functionality and feasibility to ensure that any flaws in the system are eradicated in order to provide product excellence. This position is remote based, with travel as required by the company.
Specifically, the Software Quality Assurance Analyst will have responsibility to:
Gain awareness of business application and validate requirements against user expectations.
Create specifications by gathering information from SME’s, existing systems, users, etc and support the translation of these into functional requirements
Resolve queries raised by the Operations and Technology teams across all systems
Contribute to the test scenario creation, manage automated system test scripts along with focusing on test scenario reviews, functional test creations and functional test reviews.
Support Engineers to design testable code through verification.
Perform setup for more than one module by creating data/SQL scripts, etc in an automated fashion by limited the manual effort.
Record test results within project deadlines and evaluate results to determine defects.
Provide updates for project trackers and populate test data.
Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable.
Track defects to closure and keep defect repository updated and update test suite repository with modified test files.
Perform system testing for new product execution and system production changes.
Assess and update test plans and documentation.
Coordinate development and validation activities by keeping system testing in pace with development.
Perform specific activities for the given module as per the “go-live” implementation
Performs other related duties as assigned.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
The following knowledge, skills, education, licensure, and experience are required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field with minimum 2 years of experience with hands-on test strategy, test automation, test design, test execution analysis & reporting and agile methodology OR 5+ years of working experience
Experience in testing within an agile environment, adapting quickly to changing situations.
Good business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team’s overall test objectives.
Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills
Ability to track, write and communicate technical assessments and complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business, and executive teams
Extensive knowledge of coding languages and systems.

Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
