FFW Hiring for Front End Developer – remote Job at Remote Full Time

FFW has a freelance / contract Front End developer (with focus on automation processes) opportunity, to work with its partner, a major US company from the pharma industry.

The ideal candidate has several years of experience in a similar role, is motivated, self-started, with a positive attitude. He or she must have extensive experience with modern-day JavaScript frameworks and technologies. Experience with web component development frameworks (stenciljs, lit).

For this role, it is required to work on the EST time zone, with the ability to overlap to GMT time zone when the situation requires (e.g. for attending meetings with the colleagues that are working on this time zone).
Responsibilities: What awaits you

Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages;

• Maintain and improve website;
• Optimize applications for maximum speed;
• Design mobile-based features;
• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability;
• Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers;
• Write functional requirement documents and guides;
• Create quality mockups and prototypes;
• Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting;
• Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency;
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.

Qualifications: What you bring:

We are looking for a software engineer that has skills and experience with:

working within large teams in agile methodologies;

• Web components architecture;
• JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js or react);
• End-to-end Testing and Unit Testing;
• Best practices with modern JavaScript applications;
• CSS frameworks (tailwind or bootstrap);
• HTML with accessibility;
• Git workflow.
