Fertility Network Scotland Hiring for Education Development Officer Job at Edinburgh, Scotland Full Time

This role covers the East and North of Scotland and is home based with travel to Colleges and Universities to take forward the Fertility Education project to raising awareness with young people the impact lifestyle factors can have on their fertility. This is done by attending Fresher Fayres, talking directly to young people and additionally making connections with lecturers to then deliver presentations to students either face to face or by zoom.

As not all school leavers are in further education, engage with local groups and relevant agencies to raise awareness of the education project.

Promote the work of the charity Fertility Network Scotland and provide moral support, signposting and advice to patients.

The hours of work are 17.5 hours per week, although extra hours will be required in September due to Fresher Fayre events. Holidays cannot be granted during freshers month.

Experience of engaging with young people an essential along with an understanding of fertility issues.
