Position Summary:

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning and executing all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email campaigns, blog content and display advertising campaigns across multiple states. This includes managing third party menus and digital ad campaigns. The Digital Marketing Manager will have a keen sense for details and organize and present results measured with forecasted KPIs. They will need to be aware of cannabis industry and digital marketing regulations and ensure all work is not only compliant with the Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) and the CRC, but also satisfy the social platform’s regulations and requirements.

Rate: $50 per hour and up to 20 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email campaigns, blog content and display advertising campaigns
• Manage third party menus and digital ad campaigns associated with each (Jane, Leafly, etc)
• Coordinate digital ads, email campaigns, blog content around scheduled product launches
• Create and manage a digital marketing traffic calendar
• Collaborate with the Social Media Assistant on our social media presence across multiple accounts
• Measure and performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
• Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
• Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
• Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
• Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
• Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
• Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
• 5 years proven working experience in digital marketing
• Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
• Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
• Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
• Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
• Solid knowledge of website analytics tools and the ability to on findings
• Working knowledge of ad serving tools
• Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords and other selected software advertising campaigns
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement

Big Plus For:

• Creative writing and proofreading skills
• Ability to use design programs such as Adobe Suite or Canva
• Professional Cannabis experience
• An ability to be on-site to become familiar with and participate in the company culture.
