Ferguson Hiring for Warehouse Equipment Operator (st Shift) at Chandler, AZ Full Time

We are hiring Warehouse Equipment Operators to join our 1st Shift Receiving Team in support of our Chandler Distribution Center.

Assigned schedule: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday – Friday; OT as required

Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick, sort, pull, store, and load products in assigned locations while safely operating PIT equipment, including order picker, standup forklift, and reach truck
• Accurately stage products and safely load flatbed trucks for shipment and local delivery
• Process replenishments in assigned locations using the required PIT as needed
• Perform routine cleaning in assigned zones
• Assemble containers and maintain supplies in an organized manner
• Effectively communicate with coworkers and display teamwork in completing task assignments
• Always maintain inventory integrity and product safety
• Perform tasks using hand-held RF units/scanners or voice picking system

Qualifications:

• Have a high school diploma/GED or equivalent education and 6 months of experience operating forklifts or powered industrial trucks (PIT).
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime when needed
• Ability to excel within a fast-paced, team environment
• Ability to safely operate Powered Industrial Equipment such as Order Pickers, Forklifts, etc. (securely harnessed) and/or work on the multi-level mezzanine at heights of 30+ ft.
• Ability to operate handheld RF scanner unit, voice picking system, and other equipment & technology as required
• In our MDC, you’ll always be on the move! Please note the additional physical requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, drive, push, pull, lift, carry, bend, stoop, twist, reach, stretch, squat, and grip objects for the duration of your shift
• Constantly lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs. by hand
• Frequently lift and carry objects over 50 lbs. with equipment or team lift
• Work on multi-level mezzanine or PIT equipment up to 30+ ft. heights
• Successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
