FEFA, LLC Hiring for Budget Analyst Job at Fort Belvoir, VA Full Time

FEFA LLC is seeking a Budget Analyst in the Fort Belvoir, VA area. This role is to support reconciling sub-allotted financial transactions with various services and agencies within the Federal Government (DoD). Will also offer financial accountability for audit readiness and the ability to undergo financial audits.

This position requires the ability to work in the Fort Belvoir, VA area with a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Contacting, and working closely with the Government sub-allotted organizations identified in the ADVANA workbook reports to close-out open financial transactions
• May work with multiple DoD agency components at a time to resolve issue transactions
• Assisting with financial transactions in the ADVANA workbook reports
• Have knowledge associated with a multitude of Federal Government component financial systems such as GFEBS, Mocas, NSABRS, EBS, STARS-FL, NERP, etc.
• Prepare graphs and reports for briefings
• Develop and maintain policies and standard operating procedures
• Support Federal Governments audit initiatives
• Able to work in multiple systems
• Experience with Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS)
• Working with tight deadlines

Experience Needed:

• Bachelor’s Degree and equivalent experience are required
• Required to have Federal Government experience preferably in the DoD space
• Preferred experience and background with DFAS
• Require experience with GFEBS, Mocas, NSABRS, EBS, STARS-FL, NERP
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to prioritize work autonomously
• Ability to collaborate with teams and departments in a professional and friendly manner
• Must be a subject matter expert in this field and able to verbalize this experience
• COVID-19 vaccine and proof of full vaccination required
