About the role
You will be the recognised authority in recruitment practices and will work in partnership with recruiting managers to fill vacant academic, general and TAFE staff positions as well as build and maintain effective relationships to promote positive employee experiences across the University.
Act as a trusted advisor and work in partnership with managers to provide market mapping, head hunting, recruitment, and consulting services to deliver an exceptional recruitment experience across the University. The Talent Acquisition Partner blends full life-cycle recruitment and hard-to-fill needs using integrated and innovative talent strategy development where consultation, data driven storytelling, and collaborative partnerships is fully leveraged.
The Talent Acquisition Partner, partners with the business, establishing long-term trust with leaders at all levels, and partnering cross-functionally across all Portfolios of the University. Success is achieved through the development of recruiting plans, employing sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas.

About you
Reporting to the Manager, Talent, you will be an experienced Talent Acquisition specialist, ideally with an understanding of building effective partnerships with internal clients.
You will possess experience in end-to-end generalist recruitment, specifically working in hard-to-fill and niche positions. You will be in it for the long haul, understanding the candidate market, both domestically and internationally and offering innovative solutions for the University.
You will be familiar with e-Recruitment systems, LinkedIn Recruiter and ideally, how to build an employer brand through your candidate care and beyond.
Experience within the higher-education sector will be highly regarded.

Directions from Victoria’s Chief Health Officer require all Victorian-based Federation University workers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless they are an Excepted Person as defined by the COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination (Workers) Directions.
