About the role

As part of the Human Resources team, the Human Resources Business Partner will work collaboratively with internal clients on strategic and operational people management matters to understand business needs providing advice utilising HR expertise.

You will:

• establish, build and maintain relationships with designated client groups;
• provide timely advice and solutions on recruitment, performance management, workplace relations and generalist HR functions;
• partner with internal client and campus groups implementing strategic and operational activities and initiatives including analysis of workforce data, job analysis, organisational design, succession planning and implementation of strategies to achieve an effective workforce.
• work collaboratively with the Manager, Workplace Relations and other HR specialists to provide specialised advice and intervention for employee-related issues

About you

You will be an experienced Human Resources practitioner with a reputation for building trusted relationships with colleagues and leaders across all levels within an organisation.

To be successful in this role you will require:

• well-developed relationship management and internal consulting skills
• project management and organisational redesign experience
• demonstrated effective problem-solving capability
• extensive experience in interpreting and applying HR principles, industrial agreements and relevant legislation
