Federal Court of Australia Hiring for Digital Publisher Job at Sydney Full Time

• $72,938 – $90,492 per annum plus 15.4% superannuation

The Digital Publisher provides assistance and publishing support for the operation of the Federal Court, Federal Circuit and Family Court and the National Native Title Tribunal websites and intranets.

We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills and exceptional attention to detail. Creativity and innovation and demonstrated resilience working in a high-pressure environment is also essential.

Currently the websites and intranets are hosted on several different content management systems. The digital publisher will also play a role in the consolidation of four content management systems.

This role is being advertised at both the APS 5 and APS 6 levels and will be filled based on candidates level of experience and qualifications against the duties and selection criteria of each level.

APS 5

• Sound knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Demonstrated experience in the use of web content management systems.
• Demonstrated experience with Dreamweaver software; and the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Knowledge of and experience in applying web standards, including metadata, accessibility, security and privacy.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure the provision of accurate and up-to-date information.
• Ability to work effectively under a hybrid arrangement within a geographically dispersed team.
• Knowledge of, or ability to acquire an understanding of the workings of the FCA, FCFCOA and the Tribunals.

APS 6

• Advanced knowledge of HTML and CSS; skills in javascript highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in the use of one of the following web content management systems: GovCMS or Drupal, Squiz Matrix or SharePoint.
  • Experience in one of the following search tools is desirable: Funnelback or SOLR.
• Ability to upskill in new tools and technology.
• Proven experience in the application of WCAG standards and an understanding of metadata, security and privacy principles.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure the provision of accurate and up-to-date information.
• Knowledge of UX and data analysis to improve web content and functionality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships within a geographically dispersed team working under a hybrid arrangement.
• Knowledge of, or ability to acquire an understanding of the workings of the FCA, FCFCOA and the Tribunal.
