The Human Resources Advisor is a generalist position in nature, and it works closely with others in the People and Culture team to provide timely HR advice and guidance to line managers and employees of the court, and to complete administrative and operational tasks that support the People and Culture function, which includes recruitment, pay and conditions and learning and development.
Duties:
- Interpreting and providing accurate advice and support to line managers and employees on our enterprise agreement, HR policies and procedures, and relevant Commonwealth legislation.
- Assisting with payroll task processing, including commencements, cessations, superannuation, salary packaging, redundancies, and certain leave type for employees including the manual calculation of long service leave for part-time and casual employees.
