Fearnhill School Hiring for Finance Assistant Job at Letchworth, England Full Time

Fearnhill School is seeking to appoint a finance assistant to join our hard working, friendly and committed team for 37 hours per week. The working hours will be 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am – 4.00pm Friday.

Your main duties will include

To process and input all financial transactions in to the schools’ accounting system (currently FMS) Including orders, invoices and BACs payments

Receiving payments for activities such as school trips

Maintaining accurate records

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working in a similar environment, be numerate, accurate with a meticulous eye for detail. You will need to be proficient in using an accounting package as well as Word and Excel and be willing to learn new systems as specific training will be provided.
