About the Role: 

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of all company communication and marketing strategies, as well as timely delivery of campaigns, marketing collateral and projects through various electronic and traditional channels. This role is also responsible to assist the development and coordination of all internal and external communications to ensure consistent messaging that is aligned to all FE Sports brands and organisational values. 

Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Assist with coordinating all campaigns and schedules across digital media, social media, online and EDM platforms for internal and external communications. 
• Assist with monitoring, researching, ing, and analysing the performance of all Marketing/Brand activities as per brand calendars.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of all national and state-based campaigns, activities, and events. 
• Assist with the implementation and management of national and local Ambassador Program strategies. 
• Assist with effective writing materials for events and marketing including advertising, promotional material, and program copy. 
• Act autonomously within guidelines and standards set.
• Manage and coordinate workload, prioritise tasks and plan workflow according to requirements, which will vary from time to time.

About You:

• Currently studying or recent completion of a Tertiary Qualification in a relevant field (Marketing, Communications, Business);
• A working knowledge and technical ability to produce content across all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Google+, LinkedIn, Twitter.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office.
• Strong writing skills with a demonstrated ability to create high-quality and creative communications.
• Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to build rapport and strong relationships, both internally with employees and externally with service providers.
• Presents focused attention to detail, quality and order, in problem-solving and quality of outputs.
• Demonstrated ability to determine and organise priorities, meet deadlines and achieve performance outcomes.
• Mature-minded and motivated with a winning mindset.
• Always innovative, improving, and resourceful.

Highly desirable, but not mandatory: 

– Experience with:

• EDMs (Mailchimp)
• Website content and design
• Marketing collateral
• Press and media publications (online and print)
• Adobe Creative Cloud (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and marcomms tools/subscriptions such as Canva and Video Editing

– A passion or understanding of the sports industry with a focus on cycling, MTB, triathlon, running, and similar sports
