Software QA Manager, Head of QA, Basingstoke, Hampshire, c £ 75000 – 80000 + benefits.

Expanding software house are looking for a skilled Software Quality Assurance Manager to lead and drive their team. In this challenging role you will be responsible for driving the automation strategy and have full accountability for the quality of the software delivered to customers. To be considered you will have therefore held a similar role within a software house and will have driven change and process improvement.

The client is based in Basingstoke, Hampshire and you are likely to be in the office one day per week.

Responsibilities include –

* Lead and build a global QA team.
* Determine the automation strategy for the current core product.
* Monitor and report quality metrics showing progress in the quality of software released.
* Mentor, challenge and develop the team.
* Work in an agile environment, working closely with the Sprint Team Leaders and Scrum Master.
* Manage resources and allocate work load.

Moreover you will have accountable for the quality of software delivered to customers.

To be considered for this role you will have –

* Previously held a similar role within a software house.
* Proven experience of improving processes and driving change.
* Proven experience of driving an automation strategy.
* Worked in a fast paced environment.
* Knowledge of modern technologies and processes.
* International team management experience.
