The Role:

You’ll be working directly with clients, using your judgement and expertise to help them to understand the story behind their numbers and make business decisions

• Supporting a portfolio of clients, from high fashion to tech agencies using the latest accounting software, Xero.

• Raising sales invoices, processing purchase invoices, preparing VAT returns, and supporting the wider finance team with client specific processes

• Monitoring clients finance reports in Xero to ensure a high level of accuracy, and offering your insights of where improvements could be made

• Communicating openly and honestly with the team at every level, and willingly sharing ideas to improve the business

• Working towards your Level 3 AAT qualification

It would be great if you…

• have experience in the workplace already, or have been heavily involved in a club or group

• have worked with customers directly, either face to face or over the phone

• are digitally enabled and can pick up new technology easily, although we will give specific training where required

• can adapt by taking your knowledge into other areas and apply those techniques to solve any problems you might come across

• have explained complex ideas to people in a simple way

The team is made up of a mix of experienced professionals and new-to-the-industry apprentices – but we all have a voice in the business and take control of our role within it. If you prefer being managed on a daily basis and having everything laid out for you, then this probably isn’t the company for you. We’re always up for a challenge and are constantly looking for ways to improve and grow.

The Bonus:

The office is based on the beautiful Greenway Farm, just outside of Bristol, so your own vehicle is essential, with access to our free parking! While you’ll be in the office regularly until you find your feet, you will eventually have the option to work flexibly.

We will support you through your Level 3 AAT qualification where you will learn everything you need to know to handle a business’s finances. And that’s just the start – we want to grow with you, so whenever you’re ready for your next qualification, we will support you through that as well! Salary will start at £12,000, moving up as you complete various points in your training.
