Junior Front End Developer

FD Technologies (FD) is a leading software and services company, with world-leading intellectual property in ultra-high-performance analytics (KX) across industries, and extensive domain expertise and capabilities in capital markets systems and technology (managed services and consulting).

We are recruiting a Graduate Front-End Developer to operate within the firm, in our KX Global consultancy practice, and product implementation team.

This Front-End Developer role is a unique opportunity for highly technical graduate with an interest in cutting-edge technology and the capital markets sector. You will help us develop our world leading KX Technology at our client sites around the world. Graduates must be keen to continuously develop their skillset both technically and financially, whilst also being able to communicate effectively with other members of a small team and the end-user.

Our ideal candidate will build robust web applications while also appreciating good design and the user experience and will be enthusiastic about working with others to find the best possible solution.

Essential

• Strong academic background – ideally a 2.1 degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Physics, Computer Science or other similar STEM disciplines.

• Programming ability and some working knowledge of Javascript, HTML, CSS.

• Ideally some experience of frameworks – React, Angular, Backbone etc.

• Experience with Java, C/C++ and/or UNIX is beneficial but not essential
