Fawkes & Reece South Looking for Site Agent Water at Dorset Full Time

A main contractor is recruiting a Site Agent to deliver water based civil engineering projects up to £30m in Wiltshire and Dorset. The business delivers projects up to £50m across the UK in highways, water and infrastructure for governing bodies and private sector clients with the additional security of long term frameworks in the local area.

The Site Agent role will compromise of planning, managing a team and ensure the specification is met for a range of packages on the AMP7 Water Framework for Wessex Water including reinforced concrete foundations, retaining walls, access roads, steel and pipework, drainage and other civils aspects associated with new pumping stations, rising mains and water treatment facilities.

Site Agent include:

• Advising the engineering team with solutions to technical challenges
• Production and integration of 3-week programmes
• Manage designs from the inhouse and external designers
• Support the project team with construction methodology and sequencing
• Collaborate with the project team on resource, plant and material requirements
• Training and mentoring the junior members of the engineering team
• Demonstrate value engineering throughout the construction process
• Managing RFI’s and Technical Queries
• Raising early warnings and compensation events
