Site Agent

A civil engineering contractor are recruiting a Site Agent to join a highways scheme in Sussex.

The project you will be based on consists of a new single carriageway, new roundabout, structures, culverts and tie in to the existing roads. You’ll report to Project Manager and have a team of engineers a Sub Agent and General Foreman.

Duties include:

• Write risk assessment, construction plans and method statements
• Management of the commercial team with site change control and ensuring all cost, value and change control is captured in line with the contract.
• Manage documentation for quality assurance and Health and Safety files
• Attend monthly progress meetings with clients and stakeholders
• Liaising with clients to ensure work is completed to specification
• Manage the direct labour force and specialist subcontractors
• Assist with raising early warnings and compensation events
• Liaise with the public stakeholders

It is likely you have a technical background and experience of working in a civil engineering environment, or even better have experience of working on highways projects.

SMSTS, CSCS and First aid are required

Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
